Since 2010, legal entities may be criminally liable for crimes committed by their managers and employees. However, the Criminal Code provides for the possibility of exemption from criminal liability of legal persons when an effective crime prevention program has been implemented.

Crime prevention programs are organizational and management systems, which are defined in collaboration with both consulting experts and criminal lawyers. In these programs, measures and control structures are designed to minimize the risk of managers and employees committing criminal activities, such as crimes related to corruption, fraud, bribery or fraud.
